IMPACT CAMPAIGN BRINGS 50 Free STRAWS Screenings to L.A. Schools

APRIL 2019 - STRAWS, an award-winning documentary highlighting the devastating levels of plastic pollution in oceans launched its School Screenings Impact Campaign with 50 Los Angeles area schools April 11th 2019. The screenings with Speakers were 100% funded by donors and family foundations.

MAY 28 2019 - Encorepub.com According to Booker, seeing nature so disrespected inspired her to take action. While the national conversation surrounding plastic focused more on bottles and bags, smaller objects, like straws, started appearing in the nostrils of turtles.
